An imposing curtain of metal chains separates the restaurant area from the lobby, replicas of open fireplaces create a cozy atmosphere in the bar: details like these give the newly built Business Hotel Express in Stuttgart Waiblingen a special character.
The three and a half star hotel is located in a prime location in the center of Waiblingen, within walking distance to the old town and the S-Bahn with connection to the state capital Stuttgart. It is operated by Sierra Hotel Managementgesellschaft headed by Ellen and Uwe Aschke. "Our offer is aimed at the short-term traveler," explains Uwe Aschke, managing director of the operating company Sierra Hotel Management opposite the Stuttgarter Zeitung.
Team Stapelbroek was responsible for the entire execution planning and furnishing of the public areas and the 118 rooms. Our team equipped all the rooms. The wardrobes, headboards, night consoles, TV panels and LED backlit curtains in the rooms were constructed at the Stapelbroek headquarters in Legden. Moreover, in the public areas, individual acoustic panels ensure a pleasant indoor climate. Team Stapelbroek also manufactured the welcome desks, the upholstered benches in the lounge and in the restaurant area. The hotel relies on Stapelbroek’s furniture production of for the equipment of the personnel area.
All implementation work was realised by our team hand in hand with the customer and the various trade and contractor firms. A challenge was to bring the individuality of the building itself in line with the furniture following a central specification. In collaboration with the customer, Team Stapelbroek has developed best solutions that comply with IHG guidelines. Guests of the new hotel now easily adapt to the brand world of the "Holiday Inn Express".
With the establishment of the HIEX Waiblingen, the cooperation with the operating company Sierra Hotel Management continues. Our team has already successfully implemented the Holiday Inn Villingen Schwenningen last year.
