The radio tower to one side, the famous Red Town Hall to the other - our team rarely had such an exceptional view like this on its construction sites: At the lively Alexanderplatz in the middle of Berlin Team Stapelbroek recently finished the highest hotel suites in Germany on the 37th floor of the Park Inn by Radisson. On 1,000 square meters, we have created 16 suites, a private lounge and the breakfast area with a very special flair.
The sophisticated design is characterised by the magnificent view from all angles. All rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and thus provide a fantastic view of the bustling centre of the federal capital. Even from the luxurious bathrooms, guests of the Park Inn have a good view through the transparently designed room overlooking the heart of Berlin.
Team Stapelbroek led all work as general contractor. Our guys managed the drywall, plumbing and electrical work and coordinated the painting, tiling and other floor work. We took care of the FF & E, as well as the delivery and assembly of all doors and glass installations. Our team also led the trades that were provided by the Park Inn itself. All alterations took place during on-going operations. A downside of the exposed location on the 37th floor: All material had to be transported to the top floor in the two service lifts. This meant a long wait and drive each time - the hotel has a total of more than 1,000 rooms. Our guys also mastered this challenge in good patience in a total conversion time of 16 weeks.
